MP3 editing

I have tried multiple free and not-so-free programs to edit my music and to make new tracks with sounds and samples... and I have to say that Audacity is great.

It is the easiest I have found so far for changing bitrates in MP3s...

Audacity is free and can be downloaded here:

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

For exporting and saving in MP3 format, you will need a LAME.dll, but it can be found either on their site or the Audacity program will direct you to the file when it is needed.
